Driver fatally collides with 7-year-old boy near Moeller Heights

TULSA, OK – According to FOX 23, a driver struck and killed a 7-year-old boy on East 21st Street near Memorial Drive Wednesday evening.

A group of children was crossing the street outside a marked crosswalk around 5:20 p.m.

Traffic in the eastbound inside lane stopped to allow the group to cross. A driver hit the 7-year-old.

First responders transported the boy to an area hospital, where he died.

Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

The Tulsa Police Department is investigating the incident.

Woman dead following 2-vehicle crash near Wynadotte

OTTOWA COUNTY, OK – A woman died following a two-vehicle collision at US 60 and South 680 Road on Tuesday, according to KTUL.

A 71-year-old woman was driving on US 60 when she failed to yield while making a left turn onto South 680 Road and was struck by a 63-year-old man around 9:57 p.m.

First responders transported the woman to an area hospital, where she died on Thursday at 6:51 p.m.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.

The driver who hit her was not hurt in the collision.

Crash on Northwest 36th Street injures at least 1 person

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to the Response and Accident Tracker, at least one person was hurt in a wreck at 4599 Northwest 36th Street Thursday morning.

The incident was reported to authorities around 10:21 a.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to the Response and Accident Tracker, first responders were called to the scene of an accident with injury at 1 Remington Place Thursday morning.

Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 10:41 a.m.
